For part of our trip we stayed with wealthy families in the major city of Rabat. But, for lunch one day, we travelled into the rural, mountainous countryside to feast on couscous with a poor farming family. While their lifestyle was drastically (somewhat shockingly) different from that of their neighbors in Rabat, their hospitality was still remarkable. It was both an incredible and humbling experience.
